MOT Pontoon Floor Upgrade

Ausino Projects is proud to announce the successful delivery of a marine flooring upgrade for our client’s critical pontoon infrastructure.

Our scope involved removing aged rubber tiles and corrosion and applying a non-slip epoxy resin coating system purpose-built for the harsh marine environment.

To meet strict environmental standards, our team used an advanced laser cleaning system - a precise, dust-free and eco-friendly alternative to traditional abrasive blasting. This process efficiently removed old coatings, corrosion and adhesives, ensuring a perfectly clean surface for optimal adhesion (to AS/NZS1627.4).

We then applied a marine-grade, non-slip coating incorporating grit compliant with AS/NZS 4586:2013, delivering long-term slip resistance, durability, and weather protection suited to heavy-duty coastal conditions.
