Feeder & GTU Support Repairs

Our team recently completed a structural repair project for our valued client. The scope of work involved the repair to a Feeder and Support steel work at a GTU, both critical to the ongoing integrity and safety of their operation.

Our team conducted Hot works Repair, including Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) on site to accurately identify the extent of the cracking and ensure all affected areas were addressed and repaired. Following repairs to the cracked frame of the Feeder, a custom-fabricated steel Compensation Plate was installed, welded and full NATA NDT and report completed.

The GTU Support Structure was also carried out during the Outage. The corroded Steel beam was carefully removed and a newly Fabricated & Painted Beam installed, all within one shift to meet the clients expectations.

This project was backed up with a full QA MDR document.
